Selecting this program will enable the student to apply the basics of loss control regarding property and
general liability coverages. The course covers the foundations of entry-level loss control surveys. This
course is actually the first three days of the full five day entry-level course and is designed
specifically to quick start the student’s career in the industry. The curriculum prepares the student to
be able to accept and competently complete basic loss control assignments such as apartment buildings,
motels and main street retail operations from potential clients. The course includes the DLCS training
and reference manual and all applicable National Fire Protection Association standards
to begin the students technical library.

Covering specific exposures such as commercial cooking and flammable liquid storage and handling hazards.
This course is designed to allow a student to survey restaurants, mechanical auto repair facilities, body shops,
light warehouse operations and more. The course includes the DLCS training and reference manual
and all applicable National Fire Protection Association Standards to enhance and develop the student’s technical
library.

subjects regarding insurance coverages. Designed to further enhance the entry level to intermediate loss
control consultant’s ability to perform detailed analysis of commercial fleet, flammable and combustible
liquid identification, machinery and machine guarding, occupancy reporting, manufacturing processes reporting,
builders risk surveys, basic sprinkler system analysis, and more. This is a dynamic, fast-paced, informative
course that provides the student with the opportunity to increase revenue per hour spent in the field. This
also provides the student with the ability to perform service or instructional work for potential clients.
As with all courses, this includes the DLCS training and reference manual and all applicable
